You may want to keep a bottle of lavender handy this holiday season, and to help with many aliments and skin conditions year ’round. You will want to use it by diluting with a carrier oil such as jojoba, almond, or coconut oil. You can also add a few drops in a relaxing bath or by inhalation in a diffuser. There are a few precautions you should know before using. No one should ingest lavender – apply it topically or by diffuser only! Pregnant and breastfeeding women should not use lavender (and many other essential oils.) Its also not recommended for diabetics.
