The Pocomoke Chamber of Commerce proudly presents the annual Pocomoke Cypress Festival. Four days of fun will ensue from today, June 11 through Saturday, June 14. Games and events, arts and crafts, rides for all ages, and live entertainment comprise this years festival, including boat decorating contests, Pocomoke River cruises, duck derbys, raft regattas and more!
The annual festival kicks off Wednesday, June 11th at 6pm with the Opening Ceremonies and Flag Day Ceremony. From there, the options and activities are endless, with another fantastic line-up this year:
Delmarva Discovery Center Presentation: Wednesday, June 11 at 6:45pm
Dance Loft Performance: Wednesday, June 11 at 7:30pm
Feet of Fire Performance: Thursday, June 12 at 7pm
Pocomoke Karate & Judo Inc. Performance: Thursday, June 12 at 8pm
Pocomoke River Cruises: Friday, June 13 at 6:30pm and 7:30pm – Explore the Pocomoke River by pontoon boat. Tickets are $10 for adulta and $5 for children over 12. Each ride is approximately 45 minutes.
Brian Baltimore Comedy Hypnosis Show: Friday, June 13 at 6:15pm and 8:30pm – Not your typical magic show, Brian Baltimore wows crowds with magic of the mind in his truly unique hypnosis show.
Boat Decorating Contest: Friday, June 13 – First judging for the Best Overall Chesapeake Bay themed boat will be at 6:30pm. Second judging will be held at 9:15pm for the Best Chesapeake themed boat with lights or illumination.
Tug-O-War Weigh-In: Friday, June 13 at 6pm
Free Kids Craft: Saturday, June 14 from 12pm until supplies run out
Pocomoke River Cruises: Cruises continue on Saturday, June 14, starting at 1pm and running every hour on the hour until 7pm.
Diana Wagner Sing Along and Hootenanny: Saturday, June 14 at 2pm
Meet Miss and Little Miss Pocomoke: Saturday June 14 – Miss & Little Miss Pocomoke will present prizes and awards for the Duck Derby, Raft Race and Tug-O-War.
Duck Derby: Saturday, June 14 -Duck Derby from Market Street Bridge. Tickets available at Main Gate.
Pocomoke Raft Regatta: Saturday, June 14 at 4:30pm
Summer Crabtown Cruisers Car and Truck Show: Saturday, June 14 from 1pm-4pm – this event takes place outside of the Cypress Festival and is FREE.
Live Music on the Stage; The Legend of Eddie: Saturday, June 14 at 7pm – an Ocean City/Salisbury based band playing hit rock songs from the 80s and 90s, along with classic and modern rock.
Fireworks Display Over the Pocomoke River: Saturday, June 14 at 10pm
