Things heated up in Ocean City this week as the Firemen’s Association rolled into town for their annual parade. 15th to 32nd Streets along Baltimore Avenue were temporarily shut down from 1pm until 4pm to allow for the caravan of fire rescue and emergency vehicles to cruise past spectators. Despite the hot temperatures Wednesday afternoon, the sidewalks were full of families gathered to enjoy the event. The parade is held each year in conjunction with a host of exhibits and meet-and-greets at the Ocean City Convention Center. Firefighters and their families typically spend the week in Ocean City while they enjoy the event, the beach, and the resort town. We snagged a few photos of this year’s parade:
