The events calendar is looking pretty hectic this weekend, what with all of the spring events going on across Delmarva. It may not be possible to squeeze it all in but we sure are going to try. Take a look at a few of the places that we plan on being seen this weekend:

2nd Friday Art Stroll in Berlin: April 11th

On the 2nd Friday of each month, you can pretty much guarantee that we will be taking a stroll through Historic Downtown Berlin for their monthly art stroll. Berlin’s shops and restaurants cater to the event, hosting local artists and showcasing our exceptional local talent. There’s a lot to ruminate on so give yourself a few hours and be ready to be inspired.

2014 Lewes Tulip Festival: April 10th-April 12th

It’s the 5th Annual Lewes Tulip Festival and we can’t think of a better representation of spring than a beautiful arrangement of colorful tulips. Each year, Lewes in Bloom members and other community volunteers band together to plant tulips in the city’s parks and public spaces. The event has grown over the years thanks to generous sponsors and now includes a Tip Toe to the Tulip Map, a photography contest, the Tulip Festival Quilt Exhibit and more. For more information, visit the Lewes Chamber of Commerce.

Berlin Holistic Health Fair: April 12th; 11am-2pm

Zenna Wellness Studio hosts a health fair filled with holistic vendors and information on everything from juicing to chiropractic care to holistic dog care. Healthy mind, healthy body, healthy life.

Berlin’s Coolest Party: April 12th; 1am-6pm

America’s Coolest Small Town felt the wrath of Mother Nature last month when heavy rain and storms forced the town to change the date for America’s Coolest Party. Have no fear, the show will go on and will include a parade and downtown throw down in Historic Downtown Berlin.

Downtown Pocomoke Spring Festival : April 12th; 1aam-4pm

The Downtown Pocomoke Association will host their Spring Festival this Saturday in the Downtown Pocomoke area. The event, which is free to the public, will include live entertainment, Easter crafts, horse rides, a bounce house, local vendors,  an antique car cruise, and local artisans and craftsmen. For more information, visit the City of Pocomoke Facebook page.

Mid-Atlantic Symphony Orchestra Spring Concert: April 12th, 7:30-10pm

The Mid-Atlantic Symphony Orchestra presents their Spring Concert, “Sound the Trumpet,” featuring guest soloist on trumpet, Tine Thing Helseth.

Komen MD Ocean City Race for the Cure: April 13th @ 7am

Ocean City celebrates the 3rd year for the Parade of Pink, as hundreds of women, men and children gather to walk to the boardwalk for the Komen Maryland Race for the Cure. The Race Village opens at 7am with the 5k run and the 5k walk starting at 9am and 9:30am respectively.
