Pocomoke City – The Downtown Pocomoke Association will be hosting a Spring Festival on Saturday, April 12, 2014 from 11am-4pm in the Downtown Pocomoke area.
This event is free to the public and will include live entertainment with performances by the Dance Loft, MAR-VA Theater, Brittany Lewis, Matt Watson, and a comedy and magic show for the kids by Captain Capitano.
Children may also enjoy Easter crafts, horse rides, bounce house, and sidewalk chalk art at the Sturgis One Room School. The “Passport to Pocomoke” game sends kids on a scavenger hunt to local downtown businesses to get their passports stamped and pick up a special treat at each participating business. The Delmarva Discovery Center will offer 50% off admission prices during Spring Festival hours.
There’s fun for the adults too. Local vendors, artists and craftsmen will set up tables along the sidewalks of downtown Market Street. An antique car cruise-in will take place on Front Street between the Chamber of Commerce Visitor’s Center and Sturgis One Room School.
